Aleck Wilson Architects is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and specializes in residential projects, as well as retail and hospitality work. The firm is known for leadership and collaboration with teams of consultants to build projects that creatively address the client’s program and goals. With a 25-year history of working and building in the Bay Area, we bring expertise and skill in design and management of complex projects. We engage in every part of the project’s process from planning and design to permitting and construction. Aleck Wilson
Principal & Founder
Aleck founded Aleck Wilson Architects in 1998, bringing a legacy of architecture to the firm. He is a fourth generation San Franciscan and a third generation Architect whose grandfather had a practice starting in the 1950’s, Aleck L. Wilson and Associates.
Aleck enjoys approaching each project with an open perspective and diverse schematic studies. In addition to a passion and lifetime of exposure to architecture, Aleck has a background in construction that contributes to a symbiotic relationship between the builder and the building. Constant across all projects, Aleck focuses on maintaining a close relationship with the client and project management, inclusive of budgeting and aesthetic evolution.
