Aleck Wilson, Principal and Founder
Aleck founded Aleck Wilson Architects in 1998, bringing a strong background of architecture to the firm. He is third generation San Franciscan and a third generation Architect whose grandfather had a practice in the 50's and 60's, Aleck L. Wilson and Associates.
In addition to a lifelong love and exposure to architecture, Aleck has a background in construction that has led the firm to have a symbiotic relationship with the builder and the building. These relationships and sensibilities were developed in working with existing building projects and have led to an informed process for larger and more developed projects. Aleck has been specializing in residential architecture since 1998 and enjoys approaching each project with an open perspective, which often results in diverse schematic studies. Constant across all projects, Aleck focuses on maintaining a close relationship with the client and project management inclusive of budgeting, aesthetic evolution and education.
